(September 3, 2015)—FourBridges Capital Advisors today announced that Doug Johns, the current Chairman and former CEO of HDJ Wireless Enterprise LLC, an Internet of Things (IoT) company that operates the Atlanta-based global technology firm NIVIS™, has joined the FourBridges team as Senior Advisor. Johns will expand the investment banking firm’s industry focus to include technology and telecommunication in the Southeast.

Previously, Johns served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Atlanta-based Internet Security Systems Inc. (ISS), the world’s leading enterprise internet security provider. He also has served as the Senior Vice President-General Manger of Compaq Computer Corporation’s Personal Computer Division, and prior to that role, worked with IBM Corporation for more than a decade. Johns is Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA) certified.

In his role as senior advisor to FourBridges, Johns will advise technology companies in the Southeast regarding transaction needs, including selling or acquiring a company, restructuring and obtaining financing.
