 Travis Flenniken, CFA
Travis’s professional career includes roles in business valuation and investment banking, as well as in corporate advisory and debt and equity private placements.
He previously served as Senior Transaction Advisor for a business valuation and investment banking firm with a national customer base. He advised business owners and management on mergers and acquisitions, offering both sell-side and buy-side representation. Travis also worked in business valuation, providing services and consultation related to fairness opinions, ESOPs, tax planning, litigation matters, and more. His extensive industry experience includes building materials, heavy and light equipment manufacturing, healthcare, technology, construction, industrial services, general and specialty contracting, scrap metal recyclers, chemical manufacturing, food manufacturing, trucking and transportation, and real estate holding companies.
Before applying his expertise to business valuation and investment banking, Travis was a loan fund manager and an equity analyst for an investment company which made debt and equity investments in small businesses. He was responsible for monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, and for providing strategic consulting services as needed.
Travis has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. In 2001, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and he is a member of the CFA Institute. He holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
